Michael Fitz is an American singer-songwriter. He was born in Lexington, Ky and has been a resident of Ventura County for over 20 years. He studied theory and composition at University. Michael has recorded 18 records and written over 300 songs. In 2006 he was on Neil Young’s record Living with War. He was nominated for song of the year twice by The Hollywood Music in Media Awards for “The Way it Goes” (2008) and “Slip Away” (2017). His latest record “Colors in the Wind” is an independent release (April 2020) and has gotten over 95,000 streams on Spotify. The single “Not So Wrong” has over 1 million followers on Spotify playlists. Colors in the Wind was produced by Jonathan Clark. Jonathan toured with Dwight Yoakam for 12 years before producing Michael’s record. Colors in the Wind can best be described as an eclectic collage of modern rock music.
