FIND HIS NEW MUSIC UNDER THAT NAME
I first started singing in high school. I sang in some choirs and musicals, but after a couple years I wanted to learn how to accompany my voice without using YouTube karaoke videos. So, I started learning piano and guitar by looking up chord charts to my favorite songs, and after my sophomore year I had saved enough money to buy a Little Martin. Around the time I started guitar, <a href="spotify:artist:6eUKZXaKkcviH0Ku9w2n3V" data-name="Ed Sheeran">Ed Sheeran</a>, my favorite artist at the time, was coming to Tulsa, OK, my hometown, to give a concert. My brother and I got tickets and once I saw Ed play, I decided to try songwriting for myself. A few weeks after the concert I wrote my first song, <a href="spotify:track:4kTTy70m8lZ0eMuBuyQfbC" data-name="Make a Sound">Make a Sound</a>.
For a high school project I released my first album, also called Make a Sound, in 2018. My friends - Camilo Gonzalez (co-producer), Carson Been (electric guitarist and drummer), and Lillie Burke (vocals) - and I recorded Make a Sound in my game room. (I took this album off Spotify because it’s pretty terrible, but if you really wanna listen to it it’s on YouTube somewhere)
In March of 2020 I released <a href="spotify:album:0fufaq4YQj9Z6fYdcddIol" data-name="Learning to Breathe">Learning to Breathe</a>, a 4 song EP I recorded and produced in my dorm room in Keenan Hall at Notre Dame.
On April 16th, 2021, I released my second EP, radiopassive, which I also recorded in my dorm room in Keenan Hall.
I draw inspiration from artists like <a href="spotify:artist:6eUKZXaKkcviH0Ku9w2n3V" data-name="Ed Sheeran">Ed Sheeran</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:14r9dR01KeBLFfylVSKCZQ" data-name="Damien Rice">Damien Rice</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0hEurMDQu99nJRq8pTxO14" data-name="John Mayer">John Mayer</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4Z8W4fKeB5YxbusRsdQVPb" data-name="Radiohead">Radiohead</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0CDUUM6KNRvgBFYIbWxJwV" data-name="Dawes">Dawes</a>.
