Michael Malcolm was raised in Waterloo, Ontario, where music came naturally from a young age. After teaching himself drums at 9, he learned piano by ear—unlocking the gateway to music production by 14.

Inspired by artists like Avicii and Calvin Harris, Michael dove headfirst into music after university, balancing his passion with a side hustle in hospitality. He spent time DJing and producing in downtown Toronto, blending dance beats with vocal features before moving back to Waterloo to release stripped-back, Vance Joy–inspired acoustic tracks with himself on vocals.

Now based downtown Toronto, he works in hospitality at Cactus Club Café while carving out his own lane in the music scene —sharing his story one song at a time.
