Michael North

Michael North has been surrounded by music since he was a child. After years of hearing his father sing bass with the doowop group the Spaniels, Michael sparked his natural ear for music. At the age of 10 his journey into the music world began. He learned to play several instruments including drums, trombone, baritone, tuba, guitar, and piano. Michael’s main instrument and gift is his voice. With such a musical background and an absolute understanding of melody and harmony, it’s no wonder many have called Michael’s arrangements and vocals the tightest and smoothest they’ve ever heard.

Along with being a worship leader for the 12,000 member Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch, CA, Michael has produced many projects over the years through his company, NORTHOUSE. He’s worked with many popular artist including Cindy Braggs (EnVogue), Patrice Rushen, Jonathan Butler, Judith Hill and Frank Sinatra Jr.

Michael also stars as the human face and singing sensation of the popular children’s show Shushybye, which airs on BabyFirst TV.

With more than 14 CD’s including contemporary worship albums, children’s CD’s and a newly released Big Band Jazz project called “Just For The Swing Of It,” Michael continues to fullfill the mission of NORTHOUSE which is to recapture true values through entertainment.
