Michael South

Born and raised in Rostov, Russia Michael South has started his career in 2013 making beats and working with artists all over the globe during times when YouTube just started offering independent production for masses.
It was early 2018 when Michael first experienced recording a song which without further ado became his debut single "Lady in White".

Stepping to the scene mid 2018 with his psychedelic EP – “Please Stand By”, Michael did not get mainstream appeal even though catching the eyes of blogs and niche audience.
Following year issued a full length album "Laser", filled with features from US artists accompanied with fresh dark neo-trap production.
Single “El Greeno” released mid 2020 set a new bar in sound production also being a teaser for upcoming “New Era” album.
Despite all the expectations "New Era" came out a big surprise for everybody being first ever Russian release for Michael.
Big vocal range and new singing flows with fresh production with ally producer "Corsair Vibe" definitely brought something new on the Russian Rap table. Adding 2 music videos to that makes that a perfect entrance on the local scene.
After a single run in 2022, experimenting with production and performing at festivals, Michael was ready to announce “J.O.M.O.” - new LP that includes 2 time Grammy Award nominee - Jonnywood (prod. Kid Cudi - Insano, Denzel Curry - Melt My Eyes etc.) also a big production team, carefully crafted soundscapes for 2+ years finally coming out nov 2024.
