Michael Stone is an American singer/ song writer from Arkansas. Raised in Grant County, he grew up listening to classic country. George Jones, Waylon Jennings, and Merle Haggard were his favorites, and that’s where he gets his inspiration from to this day.
We asked Michael what his views in country music were, and this was his reply.
 
“The art of story telling in music has left the country scene. It’s not about bringing people joy, making them reminisce old memories, or bringing them inspiration anymore. It’s all about an image, and it’s a load of B.S. I’m here to bring those feelings back, and bring back the outlaw, so to speak.” Michael says.
