Who is Michael Tegio? Staking his claim somewhere between surf, folk, indie, and good ol' pop, Michael Tegio has released five full-length albums since 2020 as well as a smattering of singles, all written, recorded, and performed largely by himself. Inspired by the sounds and styles of the Beach Boys, Beatles, Monkees, and any other 1960s pop/rock act worth their salt, Tegio's sound has been described as rich, layered, and infectiously catchy.
Since May of 2023 he has been backed on stage by his band Somethin' Else - a powerhouse combo of friends Andy Zamora (rhythm guitar), Adrian Wiggins , and Robbie Wheeler. Together they form a formidable quartet, effortlessly delivering exciting and entertaining performances sure to keep the crowd tapping their toes long after the music has stopped.
