Michael Vickers & The Bad Thing are a midlands based lo-fi, Indie, Genre-fluid band
who have been featured on many BBC Mixtapes, received multiple BBC Introducing Track Of The Weeks and celebrity re-tweets such as Robert Carlyle from Trainspotting and other fame. The band have supported the Fun Lovin' Criminals for their Assembly gig in Leamington Spa where they played to over 300 people. They have headlined multiple venues in Leicester as well as performing at Dot to Dot Festival and the Nottingham Riverside Festival.
Their tracks are recorded with Sheffield's finest Alan Smyth - the man responsible for the early Arctic Monkeys Demos and Mardybum as well as Separations by Pulp.
Their latest single Demons, an emotional rollercoaster of a song ending in a rock crescendo was well received, with one review labelling it as "Genre Defying Catharsis". Their next single Tallulah is an instant hit, full of energy and happiness.
