Singer, songwriter, and producer Michael Ward has performed with the world class band ‘Dogs and Fishes’ since 2000. Offering a unique mixture of musical talents honed from numerous experiences and backgrounds, the group blends elements of blues and americana to create a rich instrumental interplay combined with thought-provoking, insightful lyrics. The band’s rhythmic precision is the result of having played together for over two decades. In August of 2024, Michael Ward with Dogs and Fishes released their latest album ‘Brighter Days,’ featuring eight songs recorded at Hyde Street Studios. The politically-charged album contains nods to blues, classic rock, Memphis soul and above all, a hard to define but unmistakable West Coast Americana sound.
