Micheal Fordays

While still in school young Micheal fell hard for the electric guitar, learning every lick he could find and playing his way from parties to clubs to theaters all across the country with a rock band formed of school friends called "Mind Over Four". The young lads put out 6 independent records and toured the world. It was an amazing education in hard, backroads touring and surviving in a van, selling self financed recordings and merchandise.

From these experiences Micheal was hired to play guitar for German Industrial artists KMFDM. He appears in the video for "Juke Joint Jezebel" and the documentary "Beat by Beat". He was one of the founders of "Overbreaker" .


Pausing to attend a music conservatory in Los Angeles and develop further as a songwriter Micheal played locally using just his voice and an acoustic guitar, incorporating the lessons from the music school with personal experiences, creating a unique sound that he would later use as his souls expression and musical identity.


After touring for years as a guitarist and tech, Micheal earned a nickname reflecting his work ethic and unending enthusiasm and energy. People started calling him “Fordays”, because he would go “for days and days”. The name stuck and upon the release of his first EP “Balls And Blind Faith” he married his nickname and birth name and became “Micheal Fordays”.
