Michel Morissette

My life has been filled with so many musical experiences....every color in the crayon box.

Originally from Quebec, Canada and only French-speaking, life threw me my first curve with our family moving to the US and settling in Hartford, Connecticut....strange land and new language. Sang my first song with a traveling performing vocal group and so began my career as a singer.. Later I was honored to be asked to sing for an internationally televised hockey tournament at the Hartford Civic Center (now XL Center) where I sang the Soviet National Anthem in Russian. Also produced a full cast show and sang for two international conventions at the Hartford Civic Center and in Washington, DC. Along the way...lead singer in a band, musical theater, performer in Le Petit Cabaret Quartet and producer of the Standing Room Only-SRO Cabaret concert series in our capital city for five years where the top cabaret performers in the US and Toronto appeared at our venue in downtown Hartford.
There have been so many other musical opportunities along the way that I feel very blessed.
So when selecting material for this new CD I thought that it was appropriate to go back to that old crayon box and choose some of my favorite shades and hues...in song.
