Michell Guzmán is an American composer and multi-instrumentalist of Ecuadorian origin, as well as a digital designer and multimedia animator. As a musician he has played along great Ecuadorian artists such as Renato Zamora from the rock band Sobrepeso, Juan Andrés González, Felipe Calderón, Santiago Salazar of Radio Fantasma, among others.His instrumental space rock style borrows from such great artist like Pink Floyd, Marillion, Mike Oldfield, Steven Wilson, among others."Redshift" is a concept album inspired by travel, nostalgia and astronomy. The story is told through dialogues extracted from 1950’s science fiction films. 11 instrumental tracks are included in this album, which musically reflect the cultural and musical influence that Michell has had throughout his life. The album will be available as of August 1st, 2017 on digital streaming and download. September 1st on CD audio.
