Michelle Cade is a London based composer, songwriter, producer, DJ and vocalist from Johannesburg South Africa.
Blending ambient, tribal and deep melodic house influences into her sets and compositions, Michelle's distinct ethereal vocals can be heard in much of her work. Using her voice, synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and samples from her own field recordings, she creates a rich sonic tapestry through effects - layering, harmonising & transforming sound. Michelle blends the magic of live and sensory elements by working with musicians, instrumentalists and visual artist Taryn Jo (Prism Dynamics) who creates bespoke, intricate visual projections to accompany Michelle’s music. Michelle also releases music as Mind Like Water Music combining binaural beats and carefully-crafted frequencies to create music for meditation, yoga and wellbeing.
