Microdot

Born in Chicago's south side neighborhood Little Village of Mexican desend, Microdot is Inspired and driven from his experience with the 90s rave scene, he has infused a movement: “Chicago Techno,” a movement he continues to spread with his performances and production. MicroDot hones his skills in the studio while maintaining a well known presence as one of Techno’s upcoming musical monsters, on the stage and behind the scenes of some of the biggest underground parties in the Midwest. Much of Microdot’s production has been heavily influenced by electronic music pioneers and legends such as DJ Hyperactive, Mike Dearborn, Paul Johnson, Green Velvet, and musical composer Anthony Rother.
With dreams to host his very own Chicago Techno festival, Microdot is getting closer to doing so with his large-scale IHeartTechno events, he has and is hosting, as well as playing at some of the biggest clubs in the midwest, such as Smartbar Chicago, SpyBar, Smoke & Mirrors & RADIUS Chicago. IHeartTechno is Microdot’s premier night hosted Bi- Monthly in the Underground showcasing an avant garde range of Techno along with his resident DJ’s and finely curated headliners, . www.chicagotechno.com
