Midas

Hailing from the DC Metropolitan area, Alec Goldstein began his journey as an artist at the start of 2017, with the launch of the Midas project. His remixes of Martin Garrix's "In The Name of Love" and ARMNHMR's "Need You" greatly capture the sound of his "golden touch", featuring catchy vocal chop lines and melodic future bass synth work. Midas has released a variety of remixes and originals, amassing hundreds of thousands of streams on SoundCloud and Spotify and garnering support from some of the top artists in the industry. The Midas project was discontinued at the start of 2019, as the creator moved on to a new chapter with his debut of the CHOMPPA project, which features eerie, deep dubstep music.
