Midas is a Montréal-based rapper, and singer, whose sound blends diaristic lyricism with elements of emo-rap, trap, and classic boom bap. Steadily becoming self-taught in recording, mixing, and mastering, he began making music at 16. In 2024, Midas dropped a trio of singles—“Lemonade,” “Dollar at a Time,” and “Can’t Lose”—jump-starting a need to prove something bigger. He opened 2025 with "Midnight Hour", a three-song EP steeped in moody, late-night vibes, where introspective lyrics meet atmospheric production, capturing the feeling of restless nights and reflective solitude. This was followed by "SPRING TAPE, VOL. 1", a gritty two-song project inspired by old-school rap. Both stylistically fluid and grounded in raw expression, Midas is steadily shaping a sound that’s entirely his own.
