Formed in Sacramento, California in 2006, indie rock outfit Middle Class Rut are a passionate and urgent duo featuring vocalist/guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:4RZhvtyVcq6PWbQpTN7C82">Zack Lopez</a> and vocalist/drummer Sean Stockham. <a href="spotify:artist:4RZhvtyVcq6PWbQpTN7C82">Lopez</a> and Stockham had previously played together in the <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Dreamworks%22">Dreamworks</a>-signed Leisure, which split in 2003. A national tour in 2007 drew some attention and the band's single, "New Low," began receiving local radio airplay. In 2008, <a href="spotify:artist:4RZhvtyVcq6PWbQpTN7C82">Lopez</a> and Stockham signed to the <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Bright+Antenna%22">Bright Antenna</a> label and released two EPs.
