midnight alpha is a French music producer and pianist.
Deeply influenced by artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:6C65D20ASusYqHGSIktfED" data-name="Erroll Garner">Erroll Garner</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:62vbsDRAq0qHdezaCOzB0T" data-name="Medasin">Medasin</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:29XOeO6KIWxGthejQqn793" data-name="Flying Lotus">Flying Lotus</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5XTn5Az9AcSKu0oaauC5ES" data-name="quickly, quickly">quickly, quickly</a>, he started making music in 2016 with experimental and lo-fi beats.
In 2019, the release of his single '<a href="spotify:album:1m6smR3aXyH6Abzmy6hRYg" data-name="Floating">Floating</a>' marked a major turning point in his style, and it attracted the attention of artists as <a href="spotify:artist:4YUBqnGDhH4JphZIhi9cdB" data-name="Laxcity">Laxcity</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:65ZGdYSRT3Rmv6P7DN4XCC" data-name="Pandrezz">Pandrezz</a>. The following year, his first collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:53xwq54syWZgXoordzYUnA" data-name="Nothingtosay">Nothingtosay</a> on his debut EP '<a href="spotify:album:3GcwcpRiFB4crF50gz1t26" data-name="Introspective">Introspective</a>' also made him reach a larger audience.
Considered as a "regular master at the keys" by the music blog FuxWithIt, the young frenchie has quickly built a solid reputation thanks his numerous releases with indie labels such as Radio Juicy, Effortless Audio and Lofi Records.
Through his universe which combines aerial pads, detuned pianos, experimental synths and organic percussions, he seeks above all to convey an impression of levitation and nostalgia to his listeners.
