Midsommaren is a welcomed breath of fresh air in the Nordic melodic punk scene. The Helsinki-based ensemble consists of 6 friends, who find comfort in echoing guitars and straight-forward punk rock tunes with melancholic melodies. Their debut 7", Sottunga / Låt Den Brinna, released in 2021 via Dödstil, raised a positive buzz in the Finnish underground and the scene is now standing on it’s toes for the upcoming Midsommaren EP.
