Mie grew up in a small town called Horten, and writes whatever her heart wants her to write. Even if dancing was a big part of her childhood, she still wanted to explore her place in the world of music. She finally pursued singing at the age of seventeen, as she appeared on The Voice Norway 2021. After her performances she fell in love with the idea of writing music and lyrics that hits close to home for other people, and started writing music of her own.
