London, UK based drummer & beat maker - Miguel started playing on the live circuit in seaside town, Weston super Mare in 2005. Playing in various, emo/pop-punk originals bands until the age of twenty, where he began snooping around Bristol's live music scene. Through meeting new musicians at various jams, he started playing more Blues, Funk, Neo Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Reggae and many other genres surrounding the Bristol music scene.
It was from this time, Miguel discovered his love for beat-based music. Discovering the likes of Steve Jordan, Chris 'Daddy' Dave, Questlove as well as many drummers local to Bristol and the South West, Miguel began focusing his drumming on groove, feel, pocket and touch.
