Ecuadorian born musician, producer, engineer and one-man band Miguel Coka has become synonymous with NewWave Electronic music.
Music has always been a compelling outlet for personal expression, which I have been able to develop more strongly in this country. In my childhood music surrounded me -- voices, pianos, guitars -- but it was in high school that I discovered my gift for songwriting and gained exposure to some of the artists who have become my greatest influences: Bernard Sumner, Martin Gore, Peter Hook, BT, Robert Smith, Bono, Dave Gahan. I typically compose on the piano and later perform on guitar. A graduate of SAE Miami, where I received a diploma in Audio Engineering in October of 2005.
Released his first two singles Busy Street and Bright Eyes in the fall of 2006 and The Lover's Electric-Single in 2011 which are available at The iTunes Music Store and Amazon MP3 Store for download. Currently working on a debut album.
