Miguel Xabindza

Compositor, intérprete e instrumentista autodidacta, nascido em Maputo, capital de Moçambique. Com mais de 18 anos de carreira, sua voz é nacionalmente conhecida e já foi ouvida em outras partes do mundo, como África do Sul, Macau e Namíbia. Suas músicas partem, principalmente, do género afrosoul, uma mistura de soul music com músicas africanas - em especial a moçambicana -, sendo cantadas em língua portuguesa e em XiChangana, tradicional da região sul do país.

Miguel Xabindza is a self-taught composer, performer and instrumentalist, born in Maputo, capital of Mozambique. With more than 18 years of career, his voice is nationally known and has been heard in other parts of the world, such as South Africa, Brazil, Macau and Namibia. His songs come mainly from the afrosoul genre, a mix of soul music with African songs - especially Mozambican -, being sung in Portuguese and in XiChangana, traditionally from the southern region of the country.
