Hailing from the Triangle-area of NC, Mik Dagger began her musical career in 2013 writing and producing ambient lo-fi bedroom pop for the internet masses before gradually transitioning to funky trip-pop with hard-hitting bass. Inspired by women in the music industry, Mik has drawn conceptual inspiration from many female artists including Lorde, Grimes, and Taylor Swift to develop her own sound and path. Attaining a record deal in 2023 with Stereo Era Records based in Chicago, IL, Dagger impresses as the youngest signed female artist on the label.
