Mikael "Mike" Fall is a harmonica player, singer and composer from Stockholm, Sweden. He grew up in two small towns outside of Norrköping and Linköping, Krokek and Rimforsa. At sixteen years of age he started playing harmonica and found his calling. A few years later he decided to move to Piteå, in the north of Sweden to study music (harmonica & composition) at KKL College of Music and after that he moved to Stockholm. In 2013 he won the world harmonica championship for his solo diatonic Blues/Rock/Folk/Country performance in Trossingen, Germany. Alongside his work as a studio musician with many great artists, groups and bands like Caroline af Ugglas, Brolle, Lisa Lystam Family Band & Riverfall he has released two solo albums. The first one was the EP " When Fire Turns To Smoke" (2015), a cinematic pop album with influences of blues, jazz & r&b and in the spring of 2018 he released ”Born In A Different Time” where he goes back to his early jazz roots. You can hear influences from early Ellington tunes and circus type atmosphere in the style of Tom Waits. The album got great reviews. Blues Matters Magazine (UK) wrote: "This could so easily have been performed by Billie Holiday herself. It's that good."
