Mike Payton

I’m Mike Payton, a singer-songwriter with small-town roots, shaped by faith, family, and real life. Not every song tells the same kind of story, but every one carries meaning drawn from my own experiences—the good seasons, the hard ones, and everything in between. At the heart of it all is the importance of a real relationship with Jesus, which continues to guide how I live, write, and connect through music.
I currently work as a full time care provider for my son who double-majors at college to be a writer/director. I live with him in a college dorm and write, record, and produce all my song by myself on campus in my spare time, as well as paint on canvas. I am also a Season 2 finalist for a show called The Sound of Small Town America, and hope to one day start up a traveling music ministry. Thank you for your listening and support. God bless you!
