Mike Railey

Mike Railey is a singer/songwriter in Denver, CO. He started developing his guitar style through improvisation and study of <a href="spotify:artist:4CxobvwTpmfpIEbkYh4pAb" data-name="Eric Johnson">Eric Johnson</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5fsDcuclIe8ZiBD5P787K1" data-name="Stevie Ray Vaughan">Stevie Ray Vaughan</a>. Mike&#39;s rocked-out cover of <a href="spotify:track:2jz1bw1p0WQj0PDnVDP0uY" data-name="Feels Like Summer">Feels Like Summer</a> helped inspire the band to take it on their 2021 Hella Mega stadium tour. Mike chose <a href="spotify:album:0VMoe2ViyDgVPOEKJA0B1s" data-name="Lumberjack">Lumberjack</a> as his debut single after Rivers listened to a demo and commented online, &#34;Lumberjack is rad.&#34;

Self-described as a &#39;trojan horse of sad songs&#39;, the lyrics alternate between themes of nature, history, and internal struggles of depression and fears of climate change. The single &#34;<a href="spotify:track:6PY3esL4T6KmBHvqmJRMn4" data-name="Avoid the Void">Avoid the Void</a>&#34; quickly became the highlight track of the album.
