Mike is a German singer/songwriter and guitar player who has been performing live music of all kinds of different genres like blues, soul, funk, country, bluegrass, rock&roll, rock, folk, Americana ... for more than 40 years now.
He started playing around with his dad's old archtop guitar (an original 60s Hopf) when he was a young kid and fell in love with the sound of the guitar immediately. It didn't take long until the blues got him. Beyond playing the guitar, Mike loves to slap the bass, pick the 5string banjo, do some sliding on the square neck dobro, blow the harp or rock his lovely cigar box guitar. About two years ago he set up his own home studio and has been composing, arranging, recording, mixing, mastering and producing his own songs since then.
Since 2020 Mike has been a member of WILD WOOD, a new German band committed to funky, souly, earthy, laidback Blues.
