Mike Wallz

Artist, Director, and DMV native Mike Wallz emits a uniquely powerful sound that blends soul-igniting hip hop lyrics, heavy beats, and hardcore rock instrumentation to achieve his ultimate goal of “Raising the Vibration of the Universe.”

Mike started the hip-hop group Primary Element, just before receiving a full athletic scholarship to Penn State University. There, he would leverage his education and student athlete status to develop a significant fan-base and launch his independent music career. He would go on to tour through dozens of college campuses and performed alongside hip-hop legends such as <a href="spotify:artist:0c173mlxpT3dSFRgMO8XPh" data-name="Big Sean">Big Sean</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2P5sC9cVZDToPxyomzF1UH" data-name="Joey Bada$$">Joey Bada$$</a>, and the late <a href="spotify:artist:4LLpKhyESsyAXpc4laK94U" data-name="Mac Miller">Mac Miller</a>.

In February 2020, Mike Wallz and producer / musician Lightfoot released their first collaboration album, ‘ION,’ the soundtrack of the DTLA streets. The album serves as a musical mosaic that sonically created a new genre-bending lane for the duo. Sampling the voices and sounds of the streets, paired with heavy trap-beats, jazz, and God-inspired bars, ‘ION’ gave a voice to the voiceless and became a medium for community activism, education, and social justice.

Emerging from the pandemic with an Executive MBA and a fiery clip of new music, Mike Wallz is ready to set the industry ablaze. He is currently working on his second collaboration with producer / musician Lightfoot, which he plans to release in summer of 2023.
