Mikey Mic

Mikey Mic, now known as Michael Lance Carby, is a Jamaican-British DJ, artist, songwriter, and music producer currently based in Stockholm, Sweden.

A prominent figure in Sweden's nightlife culture, he first made waves as a DJ in London, UK. Twice awarded Best DJ in Sweden, Michael's talent and dedication set him apart, even sharing the nominee list with Avicii.

He's graced prestigious events, from Sweden's crown princess wedding party to after-parties for Kanye West, Jay Z, and Drake. His opening acts include David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, and 50 Cent, while supporting Busta Rhymes and touring with Flo Rida and September.

Michael's music has achieved international acclaim, with hits like 'Swedish Girls' and a remix of Jay Z's 'Empire State of Mind,' earning recognition from MTV, Rolling Stone, and more.

Beyond his musical pursuits, Michael has been instrumental in shaping Sweden's nightlife. He co-founded the renowned Nightclub 309 and also founded Eden, both of which have left an indelible mark on the scene. Moreover, he is the driving force behind Select Dj, Sweden's first professional DJ Academy, empowering the next generation of talent.

After overcoming health challenges, a significant hiatus from music followed. Now, Michael's triumphant return is on the horizon. Fully reclaimed and revitalized, he's set to make a comeback in late 2023, ushering in a fresh wave of new music and sound.
