Recording artistes Mikki Ras & Rytikal pens a motivational message to the youths in their new single titled ‘Freedom’.
Mikki Ras explained, “the words are impressions from the heart that are meant to inspire other people to fight for what they believe in”. Rytikal expresses a similar thought, adding “in times like these with the ongoing global pandemic people are streaming more music that connotes peace”.
The duo referred to themselves as freedom fighters and survivors, extending their voices not only on issues in their homeland Jamaica, but on a global level with the recent Russia-Ukraine crisis and the economic conflict with US and China.
The track was written and produced by the artists and their labels; Unstoppable Muzik Group and Rytikal Music Group.
The moral behind the single ‘Freedom’ is to fight for whatever one believes in, whether it be life or mental war.
