MIKURO MIKA

MIKUROMIKA is a singer-songwriter based in North America and Japan by using her personal concept of Japanese FASHION×MUSIC.
She was a back up singer for Korean pop artist named FAT CAT for a debut single.
MIKUROMIKA also attracted attention in Harajuku-style fashion industry.
In 2012, Japanese Fashion Brand held a fashion contest where Kyary Pamyu Pamyu made an appearance.
She was voted as second runner-up in the gran-prix.
Also Thailand fashion magazine scouted her fashion and she ended up in their magazine.
In 2015, she was diagnosed cancer and immediately got treatment.
Following that ordeal, she decided to go other countries to share her music and message.
In New York, she performed on stage at Carnegie Hall as a back up choir member for Cissy Houston.
In Canada, she performed at the anime convention "Anime North," and “Japan Festival ”as a guest singer.
VICE CANADA saw her life’s challenge. She was interviewed by VICE CANADA as a daily VICE episode.
She has particularly attracted a lot of attention from all over the world.

ファッションでも注目を受け、ファッションブランド「スピンズ」のモデル総選挙にて準グランプリに選ばれる。
タイのファッションマガジンに自身のファッションが取り上げられるなどファッション面でも注目を集めている。
2015年彼女が癌になったことがきっかけに活動を海外に移し単身渡ったNYではゴスペルクワイヤとしてカーネギーホールのステージに立ち、その後渡ったカナダでは、北アメリカ最大のアニメフェス【Anime North】にゲスト出演、カナダ最大のジャパンフェスティバル【Japan Festival Canada】ゲスト出演、世界的メディア【VICE】に活動が取り上げられるなど今注目を集める海外発J-POPアーティストである。
