Mil Raíces

Mil Raíces is a reggae/fusion band formed in 2011 from the south area of Puerto Rico. They experiment with different genres of music such as funk, progressive rock , soul, jazz. Every Mil Raíces show is characterised by their fierce and high energy and potente lyrics with social meaning and positivity.

The band has been presented in various festival and concerts in Puerto Rico including: Viva La rock Fest, Puerto Rico Comic Con, 5 Dias por Nuestra Tierra fest, Ink fest Tattoo to name a few.

During the Covid 19 pandemic the band released a new EP titled <a href="spotify:album:7zsxGk3tPJDljGmLW60SVG" data-name="Vínculos">Vínculos</a>, which embarks on the journey of human interaction and connection. They recorded it in it&#39;s entirety at their bassist, <a href="spotify:artist:3PvZilhu8wzSK2Py9UpKbi" data-name="Jagovhier">Jagovhier</a>, home studios (Asimétrico Sound Studios) and was also mixed and mastered by him. The band is currently working on the follow up album which is being recorded at their bassist home studio and remotely by each member.
