Hey ya’ll 🤠 My name is Joe Miller. I am a NEW country artist from Mt. Sterling, OH. I’ve been experimenting with music ever since I was 9 years old. Crazy to think that’s been 23 years ago. Funny story on how I got into country music. When I was younger I lived out in the sticks. My parents listened to nothing but country music. To be honest, I couldn’t stand country music but, this was before I listened to lyrics. I grew up loving rap, rock, and pop music. It all started when I was 9 years old. My mom got a piano passed down to her from my grandparents. I sat at that piano everyday and taught myself how to play piano by ear. Time went on and my parents decided to get me a keyboard since I was playing on an old out of tune piano. 7 years later I joined an alternative rock band my sophomore year. I just did this for fun and nothing serious. We played in a couple talent shows and a couple benefit concerts. Later in my junior year I started to rap. I started with just free-styling over Lil Wayne beats. My high school buddies loved when I’d freestyle for them so like every other high school kid I decided to try and pursue a “hip-hop career.” It went on and off for every bit of 16 years. During that time and as I got older that country music that I couldn’t stand started hitting home. I saw my hip-hop career wasn’t going anywhere so I started to experiment again. This time with country music. Country is where I belong and I’m here to stay!
