Mimes On Rollercoasters

Founded in 2011 by Mark Ruester, Mimes On Rollercoasters™ is an independent alternative rock band. Drawing on influences from Yes, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues (and many others). Mark’s compositions while a bit different contain a comfortable familiarity in the 1970’s-80’s feel that resonates in much of his music. Supporting Mark musically is his old friend of many years, lead guitarist Greg Teresi. On flute is Mark’s oldest daughter Chessie and alto saxophone is Mark’s youngest daughter Adeline.

New Music Alert:
In August, 2024 we were excited to have released our first new album in six years - Playing Out Of Time. This new steampunk concept album is based on the life of Marcel Mime, the man, the myth, the legend.

Also, October, 2024 we released our newest (old) Single. We’ve dug one of our very first songs out of the archive, dusted it off and given it a brand new sound. In The Morning Sun (2024) shall again bring new focus to the homeless crisis in the United States and for that matter, world wide.
