Mimicree

Mimicree is an indie pop rock band hailing from Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. Formed in 2012 by college sophomores Eric Gonzales (lead vocals/rhythm guitar/chiefsongwriter), Rhobin Marcial (former lead guitarist), Micko Perez (new lead guitarist) Edzel Faina (bassist), and Lhumel Hilario (drummer), the group drew inspiration from iconic acts like the Eraserheads and The Beatles. Initially performing cover songs, they soon transitioned to creating original music that reflects themes of love, self-discovery, and personal growth .
Mimicree's discography includes the EP Album "Roof-Pop" released in 2015, and singles such as "Makamit" (2018), "BeSenti" (2021), and "Habambuhay" (2023) . Their music is characterized by catchy melodies, emotive lyrics, and a blend of rock and pop elements that resonate with listeners. Despite challenges in their early years, including being overlooked at gigs, Mimicree persevered and established a presence in the Philippine indie music scene .
