My first singing performance was supposed to be at grandparents day in grade 3, unfortunately I got tonsillitis the day before and couldn’t sing - the band still played without me and everyone thought I chickened out. I was also one of two singers to audition for Grade 6 rock band, I was fortunate enough to be backup singer.
