Mind Awake is a punk hardcore band formed in Paris, France, in 2014.
In 2015 a first demo came out, allowing the band to travel across several countries of Europe.
The band's influences are quite diverse, from a classic Youth crew punk to a more metallic hardcore.
The songs are fast, short, and often bear political messages since the band members are vegan and straight edge.
That's the will which drove the writing process of Mind Awake first album 'PRESSURE' :
"Pressure is everywhere, pressure is everytime. It compresses the bodies, the minds ; it shapes our lives, and our will ; multiple battles for human and animal liberations must carry on, and converge ; into both artistic and activist spheres, in order to be amplified through more and more people, who in the end, will eventually manage to overthrow all the kinds of coercitive forces because of whom injustices remain."
