The Miners are a group that was formed in Herriman, Utah all in the name of satire. Before the group was formed, one of the members Jacob "Interstellar" Diamond started making self-proclaimed bad music on his off time. After hearing his awful music, Alec "Prospect" Reynolds decided to make a goof on him and make a few of his own rap songs. After telling his other friends, twins Mickey "Quickmick" Caetano and Jake "Noname" Caetano, of his plan, they wanted to get in on the joke as well. And so 'The Miners' was born! Prospect, Quickmick, and Noname began making more meme-worthy songs and eventually decided to feature the group's punching bag, Interstellar. After realizing the chemistry they had, the three decided to "Induct" Interstellar into the group with their first EP titled "Induction." They started building relationships with other local rappers such as Rhyme Time, and Rufio and began getting to work with them immediately.
The guys have gone on to make more music that the Herriman/Daybreak, and hopefully more, areas had enjoyed, making them first choice to perform for the Hearts Of Gold charity event held every year at Herriman High School and Battle of the Bands. The Miners still have much more to say and do for the world and are eager for more to listen. Their newest piece of work will be dropping in March so keep a close ear out for it.
