Hailing from Sri Lanka, Minesh Dissanayake has been a household name heard throughout the music industry in Colombo. From rendering his smooth vocals on unique covers, to penning beautiful melodies of his own creation, Minesh is known for the soul and emotion he brings to the table in every performance. From his stint as the frontman of “Cosmogyral” through late 2016, he brings a unique tone and energy that’s sure to get you hooked on any track he touches.
Having released 3 mixtapes of popular cover songs, his first deep dive into songwriting came in the form of the 5 track EP “Summer”. The EP which was well received and gathered a following of its own, with songs like “She” and “Summer” making its mark among audiences.
Most notably known for his smooth renditions of Sinhala Classics, shown in his well received mixtape “Sinhala Essentials”, Minesh brings a new meaning to some notable classics while sticking to his roots.
