Miniature Planets is a three-piece Alternative Rock group from Ogden, UT in the States. In May of 2017 they released their debut album Panorama which has since opened up many opportunities for the band to grow by landing bigger venues, local media coverage, and press reviews.
Ian White is the face of Miniature Planets as the vocalist and lead guitarist; with Michael Davis-Rose on Bass and Elijah White filling in as their live drummer.
While the bands career is still very new and under the radar, the band has big goals and high expectations for their upcoming sophomore, self titled album, ‘Miniature Planets.’
“Panorama was, in a way, our test album. We didn’t really have a set sound, we were experimenting with different forms of songwriting and music styles. We wanted to see what songs we loved and what songs our fans loved...” says Ian, “We are now in the studio writing and recording our next album... I don’t want to say too much, but our fans and others can expect it to be very different, but still keeping that original MP sound.”
The band is very excited for what 2018 brings them and will continue to play shows, write new songs, and engage with their fans. “Much love, Planetoids!” - MP
