Before I started studying composition at the conservatory, I was a young songwriter who loved experimenting among different musical genres . In this first phase of my musical life, both the guitar and then the piano were my faithful traveling companions The years at the conservatory opened my ears to genres that were previously unknown to me: contemporary classical music and especially opera. Thanks to the latter, by participating in many productions, I had the opportunity to see many places and theaters around the world, thus accumulating a vast musical and human experience.
During my years at the conservatory, I began to write music experimenting with a more contemporary language, trying not to totally abandon the lighter musical side that I hold so dear. Thanks to composition, I have won several competitions and I have received several honors, among the most important: the Medal of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic, the publication for the Papal State of a piece for Oboe on the occasion of the sanctification of Mother Teresa and finally, I had the honor to rewrite a new finale for Giacomo Puccini's Turandot, recorded and performed at the end of the original work.
I am here to give an outlet to that part of myself that cannot express itself through contemporary music. So Minò Lavoisier is a pseudonym from the anagram of my first and last name and represents that young author who now, more aware, wants to resume his path and continue his experiments!
