MINOE is a singer, songwriter, producer, and creative director from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Faced with the challenges of an abusive household and navigating her queer identity, she found solace in songwriting from the age of 7. Today, she credits her resilience to her tumultuous adolescence, something that above all taught her the value of creative self-expression, persistence, and hard work. Her unique and unfiltered alt-pop sound delves into themes of empowerment, escapism, grappling with PTSD, and self-acceptance.
MINOE's mission extends beyond her music; she aims to cultivate a nurturing environment for healing and is passionate about being a voice for young people who may not be safe at home, showing them that it’s possible to move on and write their own story. Her debut project, "Bleeding Heart’s Disco," released on October 6th, 2023, with support from Factor and her dedicated indie team, marks just the beginning of her musical journey.
