MINORCAN is a basement arena rock band currently based in Asheville, NC. Having already released music under his own name in the early 2000s on Bi-Fi Records and Happy Happy Birthday To Me Records, Ryan Anderson founded MINORCAN in 2010, naming it in reference to the swampy, coastal area of North Florida where he was originally born and raised. Minorcan has self-released a trio of albums; each reveling in their organic embrace of indie rock and alt pop. Across those well-received releases and numerous keenly welcomed ear virulent singles, Anderson and his band equally draw on roots rock and punk to weave a generously individual sound.
