Mira K is a Polish Alternative Rock singer and songwriter, guitarist and music producer from Glasgow, Scotland. She released her first EP entitled <a href="spotify:album:1heIdT2Qok3x1BYQXwsNV4" data-name="Stay, Angel">Stay, Angel</a> in 2019, featuring her debut single <a href="spotify:track:67MVVa7KBhySiMD5au9f2D" data-name="For You to Stay">For You to Stay</a>. She is known for her powerful rock vocals, emotional and melancholic lyrics, and timeless but unique melodies largely influenced by 80’s and modern Hard Rock genres.
Playing guitar since 6 years old, she progressed to singing during her mid teenage years. She started uploading acoustic covers of rock and metal songs to her YouTube channel, which brought some first attention to her. At the age of 17, she started appearing on Glasgow’s open mic stages which then followed with gig bookings in Central Scotland.
Shortly after beginning of her studies, she started gathering her best musical works. With collaboration from the lead guitarist Ian Devlin, she recorded her debut EP <a href="spotify:album:1heIdT2Qok3x1BYQXwsNV4" data-name="Stay, Angel">Stay, Angel</a> in the space of her own home studio, adding additional instrumentation and making the final mix and master cuts with the help of Riccardo Barletta.
<a href="spotify:album:1heIdT2Qok3x1BYQXwsNV4" data-name="Stay, Angel">Stay, Angel</a> is a debut 5-track EP inspired by past relationship experiences & uncertain, undealt-with emotions and feelings. 5th and the last song <a href="spotify:track:1h9b93Rzp7OItCxkOaQgbG" data-name="Angel">Angel</a> is a tribute to her beloved grandmother, which was written on the day of her death.
In May 2020, <a href="spotify:artist:1TIBhpmTIV6HUVsn85kVQG" data-name="Mira K">Mira K</a> signed the music-for-game contract on <a href="spotify:track:67MVVa7KBhySiMD5au9f2D" data-name="For You to Stay">For You to Stay</a>, granting the Use license to “Roblox: Piggy (Chapter 12)”. This brought over half a million views to her YouTube lyric video.
