The journey of Swiss singer-songwriter Mira Lora shows that when we surrender to life’s flow, we eventually arrive at ourselves.
After studying economics, working in consulting, and engaging in politics, Mira Lora was unexpectedly discovered by a music manager - thanks to her distinctive voice in a Swiss TV documentary about rural life. A moment that changed everything.
She began traveling between Berlin and London, writing with artists like Niklas Paschburg , Mya Audrey , and Pablo Nouvelle , and opening for acts like Patent Ochsner and Veronica Fusaro . Her debut EP Unleashed (Nov 2023), co-produced by Niklas Paschburg , received airplay on Swiss national radio (SRF 3, Virus, RTR). It led to invitations to the Montreux Jazz Festival Residency, Stars in Town, Summerstage Basel, and a support slot for Kadebostany at Berlin’s Club GRETCHEN.
After relocating to Berlin, Mira Lora entered a new phase. She parted ways with her manager and began uncovering who she truly is. Her new songs, out from summer 2025, are darker, bolder, and more vulnerable: a dance with her shadows.
Now, she integrates music with ceremonial work, guiding others through times of transition. She’s let go of the need to please - and reminds us that authenticity is the most powerful gift we can offer.
Her genre Existential Earth Pop blends @AURORA 's mysticism, Hania Rani 's tenderness, London Grammar 's introspection - and a hint of @Björk 's fearless spirit.
