miraduel is an artist and a musician. his first record 'send my love to xixazikal' was an effort to convey the natural landscape by fusing experimental ambient sound design with folk and acoustic elements. feeling like this album failed to achieve its intended artistic vision, miraduel embarked on his next project, 'mmm...' the new album does away with long-form sprawling compositions in favour of more direct song structure. gone too are the layers of washed-out synth pads, leaving only an earthy foundation of acoustic instruments.
