Miranda6PM (born Miranda Allen in April 1994) is an American rapper. Born on Chicago’s west side to Douglas, a Jamaican drug and mental health counselor, and Denise, a Belizean school teacher, she moved to the south suburbs of Chicago at the age of 6. At the age of 15, she overheard a friend listening to Gucci Mane’s “Slumber Party” featuring Nicki MInaj and this is where her inspiration struck. While in high school she joined the marching band for three years and can play several instruments including the drums, guitar, and a little piano. After she graduated high school, Miranda expressed an interest in rapping to her cousin 6PM Drew, Seeing that she was serious Drew agreed to arrange for her to record a song she entitled “Why You Mad”. Seeing potential in her after she recorded a few more songs, Drew signed Miranda and made her Vice President of his label, Progression Music Group, making her the first female artist on their roster. She is known initially for her fast rapping style and quick-witted lyrics, though now she experimenting with different melodies and genres. Her personality is very vibrant and eccentric and she has a really great sense of humor and likes to make people laugh.
