Founded in 2016 by Vocalist Dan Watson (Ex Infant Annihilator, Ex Enterprise Earth) & guitarist Frankie Cilella (Ex Bodysnatcher, Ex Existence Has Failed), Mire Lore Immediately caught the attention of the heavy music scene with their very first single 'My Soul To Take'. With unique story based lyrics, crushingly brutal vocals and low tuned guitar chugs that resemble boulders falling to the earth, Mire Lore positioned themselves in the heavy music scene as a serious artists with wild potential, but it wasn't until 2018 until that potential was met with their first full length album "Marrow Leech", which showcased a serious commitment to exploring their artistic creativity with obscure songs like "The End Is Near" "Orb Weaver" and "The Mire" which painted very vivid yet dark landscapes as songs like "Marrow Leech", "Summoning" and "The Gallows" filled those scenic landscapes with gore, brutality and sonic hopelessness. In 2022, with the release of their EP "Underworld" The band evolved into a different beast with a more refined vision of their abstract take on heavy music. Throwing even more elements into their cauldron to brew something darker than a witch could conjure. Underworld hit different. It felt mature and confident but in the most sadistic and hopeless way. From the production to the vocal performance to the vibration of the loose strings on the low tuned guitars, you can really feel the artist bled into the paint to create this work of art.
