Miriam is a 27-year-old indie music producer, singer, and songwriter from
Derby, now based in London. Growing up in a working-class home, each room echoed a different soundtrack—Bob Dylan, Travis, Fat Boy Slim —fueling her love for storytelling through sound. By 10, she was writing songs; by 16, she was producing her own tracks, shaping a signature style grounded in raw emotion, grit, and hands-on creativity.
With a boyish Britpop attitude, an unapologetically raw stage presence, and a rebellious energy that fuels her poetic lyrics and emotive vocals, Miriam is
turning a cold shoulder to what women in the current industry are expected to represent, carving out a space entirely her own.
Her latest EP Folding Days and three singles have garnered praise, earning
airplay on BBC Introducing and daytime BBC Radio shows. She co-wrote Ignite with DnB producer Alchemist—a track that surpassed a million streams and was performed live at Toronto Festival by Andy C. Notable live performances include headlining O2 Islington, appearing on BBC Radio London’s Gaby Roslin Show, and performing on the BBC Introducing stage at Handmade Festival.
Now back in the studio, she’s crafting her next wave of music, with eight
polished demos and 25 more songs waiting in the wings. Bold, driven, and
unapologetically true to herself, Miriam’s music cuts through the noise—an
unfiltered sound that this generation needs.
